Midcam Engineering provides a bespoke, one stop sub contract fabrication service.
In order to provide our customers with a highly competitive package our facilities
have been specially developed to meet the specific needs of users of fabrications,
encompassing OEM's in the construction, marine and material handling industries.We
work closely with our clients to ensure that each job is manufactured to specification,
whilst also suggesting modifications and improvements so that the finished product
conforms to and sometimes even exceeds the designers original concept.10,000
square feet of manufacturing floor space with full crane coverage to 10 tonnes
capacity gives Midcam Engineering the ability to take on substantial sized sub
contract work.
We conform to Nationally approved welding standards (BS 4872: part1 1982) or
contract requirements eg EN287 EN288 and ASME IX.Plate forming takes up a significant
part of our sub- contract work.
As with our profiling work the customer may require us to produce a finished
form for delivery, or as part of a fabrication.
In either case we are pleased to be able to work from drawings or engineer tailor
made solutions.Our Kingsland CNC Press brake has a plate forming capacity of
4m length and 200 tonnes.
